On June 8-14, audiovisual solutions professionals from across the country will be displaying and demonstrating their most innovative products and services at InfoComm 2019. Held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, InfoComm is the largest annual show for audiovisual technology. According to AVIXA communications manager Krystle Murphy, this year's show will focus on AV solutions for hospitality and retail.

From pro AV providers and integrators to designers and end users, this show is guaranteed to be packed with the biggest names and brightest technologies in the industry. 1 Beyond, Inc.

Automated video solutions designer 1 Beyond, Inc. makes high-quality PTZ cameras and systems for live streaming, recording and video conferencing. The company's award-winning AutoTracker3 camera automatically follows the presenter based on facial and motion detection. Its new Automate VX solutions use voice-activated camera switching to capture an active speaker's movements.

2N

Telecommunications company 2N will be showcasing its new 2N LTE Verso intercom system. Described as “the world's first LTE intercom,” the LTE Verso is free of excess cables, needing only a power supply. The main unit's HD camera can be accompanied by 14 customizable supporting modules, such as RFID, Bluetooth or biometrics. Because it doesn't depend on available wiring, it is an ideal retrofit solution.

Actiontec

Wireless display solutions company Actiontec's ScreenBeam 1100 is a 4K wireless display and collaboration solution designed to enhance the productivity of meetings. It is an app- and wire-free device for screen sharing that supports native screen mirroring in Windows, Android and Apple devices. The ScreenBeam 1100 also supports dual network connections with peer-to-peer and local Wi-Fi simultaneously.

Audix Corporation

Audix Corporation manufactures microphone solutions for the installation and professional audio markets. Its featured new product at InfoComm 2019 is the M65 microphone, which uses a pivoting and swiveling socket mount that is more fluid and quiet than gooseneck mics. It is aesthetically pleasing and easy to install, providing high-quality sound for a variety of different applications. The microphone features a Micros hypercardioid condenser with rigid tube construction for durability.

Black Box

Black Box will be demonstrating its iCOMPEL interactive digital signage platform with system-on-chip technology. The platform supports 4K Ultra HD/HD and allows for remote device management and configuration so users can play, upload and share images, presentations, videos and media files on any HDMI screen. It features iCOMPEL touch interactivity, HTML5 support, localized customization, on-screen diagnostic alerts and more. 

 

 

Connectrac

Wireways designer and manufacturer Connectrac will be showcasing its Connectrac Flex wireways systems. These low-profile, floor-mounted wireway systems allow for the installation of power and data cabling throughout spaces without core drilling, trenching or using power poles. The system sits invisibly under carpet tile or on hard surface flooring. It helps create agile building spaces to suit any needs.

Cozy Roadie

Cozy Roadie has the solution for bulky, complicated transportation of executive chairs. The chairs' CLICK | PACK | STACK! Quick Release allows for quick and easy disassembly of executive office chairs and other furniture items. Though maybe not the first thing you'd think to explore in the pro-AV industry, these chairs offer a solution to a common problem that just about everyone experiences –– especially AV professionals who travel for setup.

Daktronics

In March, display products company Daktronics unveiled the industry's first display sub-1mm microLED display with true outdoor brightness. The new Optica Series features 0.9 millimeter line spacing with 6,000 nits of brightness even at viewing distances as close as 1.97 feet. These displays are more efficient and brighter than LCD, with average consumption of 315 watts per square meter. They combine efficient design with extremely low energy draw by harnessing brightness and contrast together through direct sunlight.

Datavideo Corporation

Datavideo Corporation manufactures workflow solutions that fit any size or budget. One of their feature products, the HS-1600T 4-Channel HD/SD HDBaseT Portable Video Streaming Studio, is the first single-wire switcher with built-in encoder. The portable design is equipped with a switcher, monitor, camera controller, audio mixer, streaming encoder and recorder. It can be easily managed by a crew or a one-person production.

Dolphin Image Films

Film production company Dolphin Image Films uses ARwall technology to create the best possible environment for filmmakers. Gone are the days of the green screen. The patented ARwall Effects System generates professional quality in-camera CGI effects in real-time using a single interactive smart wall or virtual window. Tracking technology allows the smart wall to alter perspective based on a camera's positioning, which creates a sensation of parallax and depth in any shot.

Gerriets International

Gerriets International provides theatrical equipment systems and scenery products to global customers. The company's Holo-Gauze projection net will be its key talking point at the show. The reflective and transparent net supports 3D polarized projections, three-dimensional images and projection mapping. The threads create sharp and bright images when projected upon but are nearly invisible when unlit.

 

 

i3-Technologies

Manufacturer of interactive technologies for group collaboration, i3-Technologies will be promoting its new i3SIXTY mobile digital flipchart that turns any area into a collaborative workspace. The product features easy whiteboarding, wireless presenting, an integrated browser and easy video conferencing. Its rotating screen accommodates different types of content and ideation flows, making it ideal for any number of different environments.

Safe Zone

A unique product that will be worth seeing during your visit is Safe Zone's Gunfire Detection solution. This innovative product automatically alerts authorities of an active shooter situation, providing critical information such as the location of the shooter, number of shots fired and type of weapon and caliber fired. The system helps neutralize the shooter, ending incidents sooner and ultimately saving lives. The importance of this kind of technology is something we can all relate to.

Shoflo

Shoflo provides an event production software solution that allows production teams to build real-time cue sheets, show flows, rundowns, production schedules and more. The software is compatible with any device, allowing users to import existing rundowns from Excel and export show documents. It also allows users to assign editing permissions to each crew member. Its CUE feature gives crews the ability to auto follow show callers as they advance from element to element.

Visibility One

2019 EPI award-winning video communications solutions company Visibility One's SNMP monitoring tool identifies and diagnoses issues across hard and soft codecs like Poly, Cisco and cloud services like Zoom and BlueJeans. The information gleaned from the tool allows teams to anticipate and resolve issues before users are impacted. In 2019, the company is introducing expanded capabilities of audio device monitoring and network componentry to the tool's features.

This is far from an exhaustive list of companies that are worth your time to visit. InfoComm is full of exhibitors that are designing and manufacturing some of the most innovative products and services on the market.
